Katalin Horvath

This quilt was created for the Special Exhibit and contest named Home that took place within the annual Intenational Quilt Festival in Huston, 2014. It has been elected to the 22 best and travelled around the US Quilt Feastivals for a year. It was inspired by a dream, I had. Making this quilt was a wonderful journey searching the cultural and natural treasures of all parts of the world. It is appliquéd, free motion thread painted, free motion quilted.

Materials: satin, cotton fabrics, vlies, angelina fiber, mono-filament, nylon threads.
