"The archetype of the tree of life is again an ancient one, a very widely spread and known symbol. It appears as a magnificent, sacred tree in mythologies, religions and philosophical traditions all around the world. These trees are usually described as the sources of eternal life. It is also called a tree of knowledge or the world tree that connects heaven with the underworld, reaching out to all forms and creatures of the world, making pathways from one to the other.
The hero who climbs the tree is nourished from the tree’s roots as striving his way to the top of the tree, to the Light, meaning that we can always use our past, our traditions as a source and power bank for our growth and development..."

This beautiful composition is made as mandala ("wall hanging", to hang on the wall) that you can decorate your living room, bedroom or your office with. You can order this as a cushion too, in any size.
They are made of cotton fabric appliqué and/or thread. They all have three layers with batting in the middle for support. The three layers are quilted together with decorative threads.
